CNNCTD ‘s first project back out was a project we recently completed for HBO’s How to Make it in America. We felt after that project it was an amazing opportunity to turn the tables and find out how people around us are ‘making it’ all in their own ways. New York, New York a big city of dreams but not everything is what it seems. CNNCTD will release new interviews weekly, here are four people on the rise, based out of New York City that are making it and staying CNNCTD doing so.

CNNTD+ stopped by the new Reason Outpost and had a second to speak to the minds behind the brand, Philip Bassis and Jon ‘DJ PRICE’ Totaro. Together they built what began as a line of hand printed t-shirts by drawing from what they call, ‘Inspiration from Aspiration’. The brand is known for its honest motto’s and signature style.
